It is mandatory to trace all materials and

process parameters during production. For

low-volume production and a high diversity

of boards, MEN‘s machines and devices are

equipped with different data acquisition inter-

faces. That way, all data is gathered in a data

base and gets time stamps.

To guarantee a continuously high level of

quality the entire production process is fully

automated. Solder paste printing is 100%

controlled by AOI, followed by pick and

place with 3D inspection of components,

vapour phase reﬂow soldering which prevents

overheating of the components, and AOI to

check the components. The boundary scan

tester checks the digital parts and programs

the components, and an automated function

test ﬁnishes the process.
