Custom requirements can easily be realized with different housing dimensions, backplane sizes, assembly of different

mass storage devices, power supply and ventilation. MEN‘s own system solution designs Kahlua Box and UBox™ are

designed to be much more compact and robust. While the Kahlua Box is based on a PowerPC

control and provides

maximum ﬂexibility regarding conﬁguration with industrial I/O, the even more ruggedized UBox™ was optimized for

its place of operation: as a panel computer for visualization and operation, as a DIN rail computer or as an embedded

control – optionally based on PowerPC

or x86 technology.

MEN also produces its own power supplies

that comply with EN 50155 and which feature

a wide range input between 9 V and 154 V.
